PC issue reports and bug reproduction steps for Windows

Support Capsule

Reproduce the PC issue once. Turn the screens and steps into a report support can act on.

Support Capsule Captured actions stay in chronological order with a short comment for each step.

“It does not work” is hard to troubleshoot. Show the exact path to the problem.

Start recording, reproduce the issue, and Support Capsule captures the screen after each relevant click. It keeps the steps in order, lets you explain what happened with notes, and helps you cover private information before exporting one easy-to-open HTML report or a ZIP package.

Useful whenever someone else needs to understand what happened on your PC.

IT help desk requests

Show which settings you opened, which button you pressed, and the error or unexpected result that followed.

Software bug reports

Give a developer or QA team an ordered visual reproduction path instead of a long message assembled from memory.

Remote customer or family support

Prepare a visual explanation before a call so the helper can see the same screens and steps you saw.

Capture the useful evidence. Leave the unnecessary data behind.

01

Step-by-step capture

Record the screen after each relevant click and keep the sequence visible in one simple list.

02

Review before sharing

Add comments, remove unwanted steps, and manually cover any area that should not leave your PC.

03

OCR-assisted redaction

Use Windows OCR to flag possible emails, phone numbers, card numbers, IP addresses, and API keys for review.

04

Two practical exports

Create one self-contained HTML file or a ZIP containing HTML, images, and structured JSON.

05

No keystroke collection

The app is designed not to collect typed keys, Windows user names, or PC names.

06

Permanent ad removal

The app is free. An optional Microsoft Store add-on removes the promotional banner permanently.

From problem to support-ready report in three passes.

STEP 1

Record

Start capture and reproduce the issue at your own pace.

STEP 2

Review and redact

Check every image and cover anything that should remain private.

STEP 3

Export

Save an HTML report or ZIP, then share it through the channel you choose.

A deliberately straightforward desktop workflow.

Your screenshots are processed on your PC.

The current release does not upload screenshots, OCR results, comments, or exports to our servers. You decide where the finished report goes.

  • Windows OCR and image redaction run locally.
  • No account is required to capture or export a report.
  • OCR can miss or misidentify text, so every screenshot must be reviewed before sharing.
  • The current release uses first-party promotional banners and no external advertising SDK or Advertising ID.

Good to know before you record.

Does it record my typing?

No. Support Capsule captures screenshots triggered by relevant clicks; it is designed not to collect keystrokes.

Is OCR redaction automatic?

No. OCR proposes possible sensitive items. You review the findings and choose what to redact.

Can I edit a report after export?

The HTML report is designed for viewing and sharing. Make corrections in the app and export again for the cleanest result.

What should I check before sharing?

Review every image for personal data, confidential documents, notifications, account details, and anything outside the intended support scope.
